Brooke Bolander

Brooke Bolander is an absolutely astounding writer. Her debut novella (but not her first published work, ohhhhh no, see below), THE ONLY HARMLESS GREAT THING, is getting rave reviews from everyone who reads it, and deservedly so. Bolander is superb at taking unconnected historical events and linking them into a compelling, surreal romp through the best and worst aspects of human nature. Take a look at her web site for more information.
